Wise insists on hand holding

I just thought I would share a letter of complaint to Wise an international online bank that does provide very good rates of exchange between fiat currencies but has a number of irritating regulations that are really reaching an irritating point of unacceptability. Maybe some of you have experienced similar encounters with your own financial institutions.

Although I make comparisons with my local High Street Bank I don't believe that this practise is isolated to Wise only and maybe we have just slowly accepted and tolerated these practices as unavoidable if we want to use banking services. I choose to differ and believe alternatives are already here and can be utilised.

"I have received yet another query about this payment from Wise due to supposed regulation that by default treats its clients as being guilty of something illegal where proof otherwise has to be presented to prove innocence. Wise treats its clients as if they are small children that have no real idea of what they are doing and whose hand have to be held by every transaction they make. We are obviously incapable of analysing possible risk and making informed choices independently and accept responsibility for inevitable mishaps made in life in general including the occasional loss of funds. Paradoxically I could carry out this very same transaction via my local high street bank without issue or interrogation. In addition when considering the amount of money involved ……. seriously you really still have to question me about this 🙄.
The same issue occured with wanting to depositing funds into an international approved and recognised Crypto Brokerage Wise ticks me on my fingers and  is going to dictate to me what I can and cannot do by basically banning this option while yet again my local High Street Bank ( to date admittedly ) executes the transaction without issue. I simply don't get it and I am reaching a point where Wise can no longer serve as a major financial instrument for me.
The transaction in question that you are once again interrogating me about is a non-profit organisation providing vital health care solutions and protocols to both patients and health care professionals.
But this enquiry has put me off completely. Forget it. I will revert to my local high street bank to pay this contribution where I am not treated or view as a money launderer by default."
