I have to admit this whole concept never crossed my mind previously until I started my own financial literacy self help journey. It was books like Rich Dad Poor Dad and CashFlow Quadrants by Robert Kiyosaki, thousands of hours listening to Podcast and YouTube content where some of the most successful investors in the world shared their wisdom and experience.

Contrarian Style Investors that buy during Bear Markets when everyone is sleeping or fearful or expecting the world to finally end then sell when these same retail investors suddenly wake up during another totally unexpected Bull Market Rally in euphory and desperately start FOMO in  (more often than not just before a double top that's the signal for the following free falling bear market winter crash) Sorry I got a bit carried away there.

The thing that all these successful investing entrepreneurs had in common regardless of which asset classes their profits and accumulated wealth were attributed to, ranging from Energy, Commercial Real Estate, Emerging Markets, Blue-Tech chip stocks, Tesla, Apple, Coca Cola, McDonalds, ETFS and even some  Bitcoin HODLers and experienced Crypto Traders, they all convert and store a portions of their accumulated profits into allocated physical precious metals primarily Gold and or Silver. They don’t care about the obvious price manipulation that has been holding back these commodities' true value and price when measured in depreciating fiat currency units of measurements. They simply continued to dollar cost average month in month out. This is their Safe Haven Piggy Bank that is stored outside the High Street Banking system.

Steve Penny another contrarian investor I also follow worded it beautifully;

First build your moat (made up of precious metals) then build your castle (via those other assets and mediums.

Included in my personal list of elite Contrarian Style Investors I follow is Maarten Verheyen. A Flemish entrepreneur with an equally remarkable track record in the investing space. Via  his newsletters and his then BeursMagazine (now Macrotrends) he introduced me to goud999safe for which I am very grateful.
