I have been blogging on Wordpress.com since 2014 because I simply love putting my thoughts, general life observations, and personal experiences into written form. Only years later did I even consider the monetising aspects, but due to working full-time and other commitments, my blog space remains a non-monetised platform.
In recent years, however, my broad range of general life topics has narrowed itself down to essential Financial Literacy, as my bio explains. I have over 200 blog posts, primarily copy posts designed to redirect readers to the sources of data I found so valuable. These sources provided excellent education, value, insights and wisdom that goes beyond the making of money itself. I feel greatly enriched despite still not attaining that satisfactory level of financial independence and security that I would have desired, partly due to the realisation of my financial illiteracy reasonably late in life. I hope that any younger readers in the same boat wake up to this realisation sooner in life.
Paradoxically, many wealthy and successful entrepreneurs, traders and investors seem to have developed and display a different primary focus. It appears as if…;
“It's no longer about the money.”
… in itself, it's not about that final destination of Financial Nirvana. The journey, with its successes and failures, ups and downs, finally forms something of far greater value and joy than their already achieved net worth measured in gold bars, ounces of silver coins, Treasury Bills, Bonds, Stocks, Shares, REITs, or the number of Bitcoins held in cold storage.
The angling mastery they have developed has become their primary focus and has given them the greatest source of joy, satisfaction, and purpose, rather than the ocean of finned inhabitants that now make up their maritime net worth.

Like a fisherman who does not feel threatened or vulnerable when his fridge or freezer is empty or has been raided, a skilled entrepreneur, investor or trader can remain calm and confident even if his ventures fail or accounts have been hacked or raided. Obviously not desired or pleasant, he has developed self-confidence that radiates calmness and zen. He knows he can start from scratch. He can take out a new loan to purchase new assets or build or buy a new income-generating business, which converts that loan into ‘good debt’. The revenue generated can then be used to pay off any ‘bad debt’ that may have been previously incurred. At the same time, the remaining income is then re-invested in those ‘newly fished’ income-generating assets. (I have not even mentioned pre-existing passive income streams generated from previous businesses)
But in addition to this, it's also about your personal development as a human being, both in terms of self-worth and respect and in terms of your interaction with and treatment of your fellowman, coworkers and clients. These riches cannot be measured in any physical units of value. They reside on another plane and dimension but are of equal importance and value in living a fulfilled and meaningful life.
This is where my primary focus is rather than on the best stock picks, the latest potential life-changing meme coins, or scalping trading strategies.
So, as an additional disclaimer I have to add;
You won’t make money reading my posts.
… But it may just help you redirect your focus, attention and priority on developing the art of entrepreneurship, investing, trading and providing quality goods and services. I believe this will help you attract and keep clients and vital business partners and ultimately generate a sustainable source of life-changing income.
